The single-cycle master's degree course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, CTF, has been activated in the academic year 2020-2021 at the  Polo Pontino, Latina site.
CTF couse - Latina site has local scheduled access for a number of students equal to 50, which add up to 200 at the Rome Sapienza site.
CERSITES, with resolution  01/29/2019, identified  classrooms n.1 (70 seats) and n.7 (64 seats) of the LT005 building - Engineering headquarters, Via Andrea Doria 3, to be used for educational activities of the single cycle master's degree course in CTF, Latina site.
The structures of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences and Biotechnologies are also available to the CdLM in CTF - Corso della Repubblica, 79 - Latina
Students of the Degree Course have access to the reading room located on the ground floor in the headquarters of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences and Biotechnology.
The students of the Degree Course have at their disposal the didactic laboratories of Anatomy, Chemistry, Histology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology located on the ground floor in the headquarters of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences and Biotechnology.
LIBRARY The services of the Mario Costa - Latina library are available for students of the Degree Course, Building: LT002, ground floor, Via XXIV Maggio 7 - Latina. The Mario Costa Library belongs to the CERSITES.
 
The reasons that led to the activation of the CLM in CTF at the Latina site originate from the following observations:
1) an increasingly need felt by the production companies of the Polo Pontino and in general in southern Lazio, to have a highly qualified university structure in the territory with which to interface to activate from scratch or intensify collaboration relationships in areas of common interest such as scientific research in the chemical-pharmaceutical, biotechnological, automation, robotics, information technology fields, also through the activation of internships and training placements aimed at students of a Master's degree course.
2) expansion of the Sapienza training offer for the CdLM in CTF, and establishment of an academic reality with a high technological-scientific qualification as a strategic presence in the Lazio region for the chemical-pharmaceutical sector which, considering the two districts of Pomezia-Latina and Frosinone-Anagni ranks overall in second place in the national production of pharmaceutical specialties, sees the presence of numerous companies of excellence and is booming in recent years.
3) the fruitful synergy between the chemical-pharmaceutical and medical areas, created at the Rome Sapienza site with the establishment of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine (Faculty Assembly of 17/12/2018; Faculty Strategic Plan 2018-2020) it represents a safe framework and additional motivation for the activation of the CdLM in CTF at the Polo Pontino, where the CdLM in Medicine and Surgery-E and other degree courses of the health professions are already active and consolidated.
